Any revenue generated after expenses and reserves are met is given back to the members in the form of better rates and more services. Therefore, having your accounts with Scott Credit Union can save you some money. We offer similar products and services to what the conventional financial institutions have, but we do so with our members’ best interest in mind.
Part of the credit union difference is living the philosophy of “people helping people”. As experts in the financial industry, it is our job to help you understand the basics of money management and give you the tools you need to succeed in your personal finances. Therefore we also offer a variety of free financial education programs, including school programs, online member seminars, lunch and learns and a speaker’s bureau trained to educate on a variety of topics.

Savannah’s Southern Charm began as a little thought one morning when out “yard sale shopping” with a friend. Savannah said out loud to Stacy, “I wish we had a local place where we could shop…” little did she know that the little thought wouldn’t leave her alone!
She kept thinking of what was available in Waterloo and what wasn’t. Thinking back of the local store she would shop in in her home town in Alabama; it brought such great memories. SO she decided so would bring Waterloo a little of the “southern charm” that she grew up with and around.
So enlisting her closest friend Amy Hank (local Keller Williams real-estate agent) to help her find the perfect location it took a little bit of time! But with patience (as her friends would remind her) they found the perfect location! Located down town within walking distance of the local hot spots she began to let herself feel excited about possibilities!
Savannah’s Southern Charm is the place to stop in while visiting downtown Waterloo, offering new home decor items, personalized gifts for the entire family, and the opportunity for people to register locally!
Savannah has brought a convenient local location that has something for everyone!
Stop by and say “Hi”!
